There are moments in the year when the Earth invites us to pause. Autumn is one of those sacred moments.

When Nature isn’t the backdrop. Nature is the teacher.

As autumn transforms the forests of Big Bear into a breathtaking tapestry of gold, amber and crimson, the mountains become a living ceremony of release, renewal and quiet transformation.

Towering green pines remind us to stand deeply rooted while reaching toward the heavens. Crisp mountain air awakens more than our senses – it clears the mind, opens the heart and stirs the soul. Crystal waters restore our spirit while sacred wildlife appears as guide, reminding us that we are not separate from nature but an essential part of its great unfolding.

Surrounded by Big Bear’s sacred Native sites, the beautiful scenery, the powerful full moon and the extraordinary energy of the enormous quartz dome known as The Eye of God – you will feel the healing presence of the place.

You’ll step into a retreat designed to refresh your body, reset your mind and enliven your spirit.

Together we’ll honor the changing of the seasons by releasing what no longer serves us, embracing new possibilities and reconnecting with the deepest truth of who we are.

This is more than a retreat. It is a return—to nature, to joy, to community and to yourself.

You’ll leave enlightened, expanded, lighter, clearer, deeply inspired and forever touched by the wisdom of the mountains, the medicine of the trees and the quiet magic that only the wild can awaken.

And yes…

We’ll have fun.

Lots and lots of fun.

EXPERIENCES

(Sunrise 6:30 am / Sunset 7:30 pm)

EXPERIENCES

Cacao Ceremony – A cacao ceremony is a mindful, communal gathering centered on drinking pure, ceremonial-grade cacao. Rooted in ancient Americas traditions, the circle uses the sacred cacao as a gentle “heart-opening” ritual for intention-setting, meditation, and emotional reflection

Eye of God Crystal Dome – A very powerful sacred site. Knows as Hatauva or Aapahunane’t in the Native American Serrano Tribe language, is a massive white quartz dome and sacred tribal landmark.  It is an exceptionally Sacred Site – a holy megalith for the Yuhaaviatam (“People of the Pines”), a clan of the indigenous Serrano people who have inhabited the region for over 2,000 years. According to Serrano tradition, this location is where their creation story takes place. They believed the gleaming quartz outcropping was the actual eye of their creator god, Kruktat, watching over them to ensure they treated one another with kindness. Tribal lore states that when Kruktat died his eye flew out of the cremation fire and transformed into this giant quartz dome. You will receive a personal crystal healing session atop the Eye of God.

Tree of Resilience – An ancient juniper believed to be nearly 1,000 years old. Over the centuries it has survived a major fire, drought, storms, heavy snow, extreme temperatures and countless seasons of change –  yet it continues to GROW.  Standing within this mother tree connects you to palpable feelings of hope, strength, possibility and renewal – you experience this living example of enduring hardship and continued growth.

Big Bear Lake Boating & Water Meditation – Experience the fun and peace of gently traversing the lakes shores – viewing the gorgeous trees and rock croppings along the way. A pause for a floating meditation using the energies of the lake.

Shopping & Exploring – There are many gorgeous hiking trails of every variety – through the forests, through meadows, along the shoreline. The little village of Big Bear has a relaxed, rustic atmosphere with small shops, local restaurants, galleries and cafés.

Sound Healings – Crystal bowl sound baths taking place at the retreat center – with crystal & Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, rain sticks, native percussion instruments, crystal pyramid and more. A deeply moving and calming experience.

Wildlife Sanctuary & Adoption – A visit to the wildlife sanctuary that houses native species of Sacred Wildlife who are not able to live in the wild due to incident or injury. You will experience these wonderful beings and the special energetic powers each of them hold. We will “adopt” a few of these precious souls so we can continue to follow their journey after the retreat is over.

Drum Circle Buddhist Monastery Ogyen Choeling Monastery a Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary hosts Drum Circles to promote global peace and community healing. Held outdoors at the foot of their sacred World Peace Stupa near the largest Guru Rinpoche statue in the US.  Often brings together monks, nuns, and the local public to blend rhythmic drumming with universal prayers. They pay tribute to the region’s indigenous Serrano ancestors.

Floating Sound Bath – A crystal bowl sound bath while (literally!) floating in an indoor heated pool. It offers a unique meditative experience where you are gently supported in water while surrounded by the vibrations of healing sounds. The combination of floating, sound and stillness creates a deeply relaxing experience that invites the body to soften, the mind to quiet and the senses to open.
